Summer Wedding DO's & DONT's!

I have always dreamed of getting married near water on a beautiful sunny day in June. The long summer days, gorgeous smelling flowers and blue skies make a perfect environment for a wedding ceremony and reception. While planning my June wedding I have come across some Summer Wedding DO’s & DON’Ts on my fave wedding site the knot.

DO provide heat relief. Use decorative baskets filled with water bottles or cute paper fans throughout the ceremony site.

DON’T begin your wedding while the sun is at its strongest. Shoot for a late afternoon start time. Your guest may overheat and lose their appetite and eagerness to party.
DO consider light fabrics while choosing your wedding attire. A bride & groom should feel comfortable and confident on their wedding day, not sticky.

DON’T forget save-the-dates. While many of your guests will be planning summer vacations, wedding announcements should be sent out in advance to get marked in everyone’s calendar.

This list of DO’s & DON’Ts will help all you summer brides ensure your guests are comfortable while designing your perfect wedding!

Happy Planning ......
